My new Server!!

Hey guys, it's JB, and I wanted to announce that I have created a 24-hour server. The server is hosted by GGServers, and so far, they have been great. I chose to buy a "coal plan" that comes with 2 GB of RAM and 24 recommended player spots. The link to their website is https://ggservers.net/. They are excellent hosts and I'm not old enough to be bribed.

I have created a server hub which can teleport you to different games that I have built including sumo, factions, and survival games. I have also created a shop that can be assessed in-game via a link.

OreSpawn Mod Review

Hey guys, its me, JB, and today I will be doing a review of the orespawn mod. I apologize for not being able to do a blog in a while, but I've been traveling of posting videos on my youtube channel. Lets get into it. This mod adds a ton of news mobs. It was created by chicken_bones, so you'll need code chicken core to run it. This mod is a very good mod, but some of the mobs require quite an amount of data. I would recommend this mod, as it adds gear, like a hoverboard, as well. It's also fun to make the mobs fight. Cats

Hello. A couple of days ago, I got a kitten named Laxy. Of course, I tried to find a good cat mod. It turns out, I couldn't find one I liked. Today I will be telling you how to tame ocelots in Minecraft.

  1. Find an ocelot. You can spawn one, but they naturally spawn in jungle biomes
  2. Find raw fish. It has to be raw, cooked won't work. The myth that you can use milk is a myth.
  3. Slowly come to them with raw fish in your hand. When they start moving to you, FREEZE! They will bolt away if you move.
  4. Right click with fish until the change color. Don't worry about the hearts, keep clicking.
  5. Creepers are scared of both ocelots and cats

I hope this helped. Happy Mother's day, and watch out for creepers!

Pixelmon

Hello. Today I will be telling you how to download Pixelmon. A mod is one alteration to the game that has one topic. A modpack uses multiple mods to create a better experience for the player. The program required for the modpack is called Technic Launcher. I will put the link below, but what you need to do is follow the link and download the Technic Launcher. Drag it onto your desktop by making the webpage smaller and clicking and holding the file to the location. Open it and use the default file placement. You will need to log in with your minecraft username and password. You're in! The best modpack is called Sushix's Pixelmon Pack. Click on the title and copy the link. In the top left of Technic Launcher, there should be a box where you can paste the link. Click "Add Modpack" and select Pixelmon. Click install, and after it's done installing, click play. This modpack is a great modpack if you know the different Pokemon. Choose your starting pokemon, and play! Note that if you want another modpack just copy and paste the link.

2 Extremely Funny Traps

Hello. Today I will be telling you how to make 2 traps. Enjoy!

Piston Trap:
First, create a space that is 4x4 and put pressure plates on all of the blocks. Do this in a strategic place, like the floor of the victim's house. Break one of the 4 pressure plates in the center and replace with a chest and sign that says "Free diamonds". Fill this chest with something stupid, like paper, or music discs. Put pistons around the perimeter. When the victim comes in,he or she will jump the piston, and step on the plates, trapping him- of herself in.

"Free Diamonds!"
Dig down 5 blocks. Fill them with TNT. Break the top block and replace with whatever the floor is (Assuming you did all of this inside you victim's house), and place a trapped chest on top of the TNT. You don't need to put a sign that says, "Free Diamonds", because they will just open it out of curiosity. The trapped chest will activate the TNT because it sends out a redstone signal when it opens, blowing them up. Enjoy

Heh, Heh.

AliaCraft

Hello. I apologize for the long distance between blogs, but i have had a lot going on. I just was in Sedona for a week and I couldn't really blog. If you don't know who Ali A is, he is a great Youtuber who does Minecraft, Call of Duty, and other fun games. If you are allowed to go on Youtube, you should go check him out. Today I will be reviewing his server. Happy Easter!

Ali A's server has many games, so I will only cover the arcade games. There are Hunger Games, Skywars, Walls, CookieSlap, Capture the Flag, and parkour. Hunger Games is an every-man-for-himself PvP (Player versus Player). Last man standing wins. Skywars is where you are stranded on an island and try to kill all the other people. You have two chests of items, but in the center there is a bunch of more useful and powerful gear. In the version of walls I play, you have ten minutes to prepair, and then the wall s drop and the Deathmatch begins. The team that eliminates the other team first, wins. CookieSlap is where you have a knockback III cookie and you try to hit others off. You can respawn. Hopefully this will outline the sever for you and will convince you to play.

Simple Redstone Signal Elevator

Hello. Today I will be telling you how to create a redstone signal elevator. This method is useful for lighting systems where you are short on resources.

First, build whatever will be connected to the signal elevator. Next, place the switch wherever it needs to be inside your house. Then, place a block with a redstone torch on it with the torch being at the same level the lever is. After, place a block with a torch on it above the first block. Continue doing this until you are at the circuit. (Note that it needs an even amount of torches for it to work. This is a very simple principal that when a torch is powered, it turns off.

PvP Tricks

Hello. Today I will be giving a few of my favorite strategies for PvP (Player versus Player). PvP is different from mob arenas in a one main way.Mobs are controlled by the computer or even more deep, the laws of their programming. This means that is PvM (Player versus Mob), or PvC (Player versus computer). I am very sorry for not doing a Minecraft blog in a while. I have done a lot of app reviews on my other blog, which can be found at http://jbappreview.blogspot.com/.

  1. Jump Through.
As the name suggests, you try to jump through your opponent. Sneak up behind the other player, or distract him, maybe using Death Chat Troll (Where you say random things or funny comments to annoy or distract others.). Hit them from behind, then when they turn around, jump through them and hit them on the other side. Repeat until they are dead.

     2. Wait it out.

Find good gear and hide in a corner, preferably with a bow ready to fire in a hidden area. This way, you can catch any attackers off guard. This technique is very useful on crowded Survival Games servers where you don't want to have attackers on every side. This could be hurtful or helpful, as that would cause mass confusion in that battle. Using the Wait it out strategy, do /list if that server has that command, and when there is only one person besides you, sneak around and use the Jump Through tactic to sneakily kill you opponent.

   3. Alliance?

Make some friends. When they are off guard, sneakily kill them. Then, make more "Friends". This is very useful when the opponent is more skilled than you. Trap them, use previous tactics or just flat-out betray them. This will be hard to master, but it will rack up kills pretty fast.

Thank you for viewing, leave more suggestions, and comment please. Bye!

Hello. Today I will be doing a comparison of xbox and pc versions. Let's get to it! The Xbox is good if you want to build something really big, or invite friends to play on splitscreen. The pc version is best if you want to build with redstone, on have mods, maps, and servers. The xbox version is less developed, because you can't have commands (which means no command blocks), there is less blocks, and there is no pick block. The default key on pc version for pick block is button 3, or the mousewheel. Pick block allows you to grab the block you are looking at without going into the inventory. It only works in creative. Then again, the Xbox version pre-owned at Gamestop is $10, compared to the PC's $29.99, so its definitely cheaper. I think that they are pretty equal, because of the Xbox's multiplayer. It depends on what you want.
Xbox $19.99: new at Gamestop
Pocket Edition: $6.99
PC version: $29.99

Storage Space (Build)

Hey, guys. Today's post will be telling you how to make an underground storage space. This method is highly useful if you have too many items, or I build it in creative, fly away from it with only a waypoint (Rei's Minimap), change to survival, set the difficulty to hard, and disable cheats. It's a fun challenge to find and build, and it feels really accomplishing to build one.

First, you should excavate a rectangular shape. Then, excavate the walls one block further and replace with whatever block you want the walls to be. Next, place that same type of block in rows along the wall, leaving a one block gap between each. It will need to be able for a minecart to fit between these gaps. Run minecart track along these rows and have the ends be at the end of the excavated area. I suggest having a sign at every track end and having that track hold those items. put a powered rail at the start of every track and one at the end of the shelf. This will stop the minecart from bouncing from the wall and going back along the track. Use minecarts with chests to hold items. create a beacon at the bottom if you want it to be found, or if you are going to hunt for it, create a pillar by the entrance. Light up the interior, because the light level will be lower than 7, when mobs spawn.
